HIV Prevention programs for persons vulnerable for the acquisition of HIV. Individual and small-group interventions have been shown to significantly reduce risk behaviors among people who have been diagnosed with HIV to help ensure they do not transmit the virus to others.
Substance abuse prevention programs involves helping individuals develop the knowledge, attitudes, and skills needed to prevent substance abuse.
Community health refers to non-clinical approaches for improving health, preventing disease and reducing health disparities through addressing social, behavioral, environmental, economic and medical determinants of health in a geographically defined population.
Includes completing an application process for a financial grant provided by an institution such as a government department, corporation, foundation, or trust. Such application processes are often referred to as either a grant proposal or a grant submission.
The policies of an organization are the clear, concise statements of the parameters by which an organization conducts its business. In essence, the policies are the rules that staff abide by as they carry out their various responsibilities. The procedures are the instructions or steps that describe how to complete a task or do a job.

TEAM will assist clients in developing systems to oversee all activities and tasks that must be accomplished to maintain a desired level of excellence. This includes the determination of a quality policy, creating and implementing quality planning and assurance, and quality control and quality improvement.
Compliance monitoring is a continuous process to ensure that affected staff is following all policies and procedures in the manual. Its purpose is to spot compliance risk issues in an organization’s operations or function.
TEAM will assess your organizations training needs and assist with the development of a comprehensive training plan. Organizational assessment also include a systematic review of your organization’s processes, work environment, and structure. It is a diagnostic tool that focuses on the organization as a whole rather than on any individual.
TEAM will work in tandem with organizations to develop a strategic planning process that identifies strategies that will best enable the agency to advance its mission. Ideally, as staff and board engage in the process, they will commit to measurable goals, approve priorities for implementation, and also make a plan to revisit the strategy on an ongoing basis as the internal and external environments change. The process will include the organization’s strengths and weaknesses, as well as external opportunities and threats, in what is commonly called a “SWOT” analysis. Looking at external factors (community needs or the economic outlook, for example) as well as internal capacity is important.
TEAM will assist your organization develop a team-building program specific to your agency needs. TEAM will work with your agency’s team to develop goals. The resources to achieve the goal must be identified and agreed. The right people must be involved. The recommended action must be practical and appropriate. The teambuilding plan will build trust, mitigates conflict, encourages communication, and increases collaboration. Effective team building means more engaged employees, which is good for organizational culture and boosting quality of services. It can also be adventurous and enjoyable.
The purpose of the IRB is to ensure that the investigator complies with the protocol and to demonstrate that the trial is necessary and that the risk-benefit ratio is acceptable by reviewing key trial documents to ensure that the subjects’ rights and well-being are protected. TEAM will assist the organization with the following Steps: 1. Identify if the project needs IRB approval, 2. Complete any training needed for the researchers, 3. Complete the IRB application, 4. Adjust as requested by IRB Review until approved, 5. Report Changes and Annually Renew Authorization (if needed), and 6. Submit close-our report.
TEAM's Capacity development process includes many different levels, but three of the most important are: individual, organizational, and societal (often referred to as the enabling environment). A successful approach to developing capacity is likely to involve all three of these important levels. Capacity building enables organizations and their leaders to develop competencies and skills that can make them more effective and sustainable, thus increasing the potential for charitable nonprofits to enrich lives and solve society’s most intractable problems.
